Travel and Back on a Schedule
Written 4/30/2024.
I didn’t write yesterday as I was flying home from Iceland and was working on other items. The good news is that it was uneventful, even if it did get in about 20 minutes late. I’d never seen a plane take so long to load in the many years I’ve been flying. It was strange.
There is something to be said for Global Entry. I walked by 300 people in line and put my passport on the special kiosk. Then walked out the door with a card I would hand to the person when I leave with my luggage. My friend had to wait in the long line and it took over 40 minutes.
Around 8 pm I arrived home to a very happy doggy. Then I went to sleep.
Sleep was good and I awoke at the usual time, deciding to go back into the office at the usual time in the morning. I had blocked it off, but felt I needed the structure of work.
I’m glad I went because I definitely needed it. There is something to be said about getting back into a routine.
My body was happy when I made a salad for it.
I wanted to go to the gym but had to pick up bags for my motorcycle instead. It was a little over 90 minutes round trip which meant that it was too late for me to work out.
Hopefully tomorrow morning.
That’s it for this post.
