Continuing the Grind
Written 2/25/2024.
It’s Sunday evening at 9 pm and I’m working. Do I want to work? Not really, but I’m doing it. Actually, once I get into the content, I do enjoy it. It’s getting over that hurdle.
I’m gathering my material together for the copywriter who will take this stuff and magically “spin” it into a compelling story.
That said, I did write my personal story of how I got to where I am today. The retreat concepts. The different components of each aspect of this business. I started on podcast questions.
There is a ton of material that needs to still be created, but it will happen. It can’t not happen because I am 100% committed to this.
Hence why I’m working at 9 pm on a Sunday.
Does this mean I did this the whole day?
No.
I took time for God and time for myself.
Time for God was meditation/reflection and then Church.
Time for myself included prepping healthy food for the week and taking an hour-long ride on my motorcycle on this beautiful 60-degree day.
There was also doing the laundry and getting L back for the week. Cleaning toilets is on the docket for some time this week. Yes, it’s the glamorous life of a single guy. Just like everyone else.
Make sure you take time today for self-care yourself. It’s important.
With all my love,
Robert
