Chatting with Icelanders
Written 4/12/2024.
Today was the first day I chatted with people who live in Iceland. Ardnis and Hildy (my spelling is not good). Both fun and wonderful people who are helping to pull of this pre-retreat.
Hildy can run tours for us (and has a biting sense of humor). Ardnis is inviting people to be on my podcast and looking at spaces to record the podcast in. They will also look at restaurants where we can host 12 people.
The benefits of having wonderful, local people working with us.
I had to rent a larger car. 7 passenger versus 3 passenger. They said the roads are all paved and so we don’t need an all-wheel drive car. That’s nice.
One thing is for sure, we will have a lot of fun.
The copywriter is supposed to give the first copy of the information we’ll be giving to those who are willing to be on the podcast. We may get some Presidential candidates along with some business owners.
I am learning patience and allowing things to unfold in their time as we leave in a little more than a week. I would have preferred to have everything set up and done by the end of last week, but that’s not the way it is working, nor could it work that way.
This is part of my growth path. Learning patience.
I HATE patience. I want it now!
Hence why I’m continually confronted with opportunities to develop more patience.
There are no short cuts and that is good.
