By the time you read this, I'll already be asleep in Iceland
Written 4/20/2024.
When you read this, I will (hopefully) be asleep as Iceland time is 5 hours ahead of Chicago. They are on GMT time, like perfectly GMT which is cool in a nerdy kind of way.
Right now, I’m stressing over getting postings up for the week so I don’t miss a day. It will be mostly posts from March, but if I have the time, I’ll try to make a bonus post on what’s going on.
Photoshoot tomorrow before I leave Monday.
Professional dog sitter hired to take care of L. Backup plans set in case something blows up.
I can’t pack until tomorrow night due to the photoshoot. All of those clothes will need to be packed. They weigh around 54 pounds (including the weight of the suitcase), so I’ll need to repack some into my carryon.
Working through my brain about what we will focus on each day (practicing the retreat stuff).
Of course, people need insurance before the end of the month because they waited too long. That’s a stressor.
Today I rode my Harely out to the Premium Outlet Mall to pick up a fossil Fenmore Stainless Steel watch for the photoshoot. It’s a nice-looking watch. The ride was cold, but the road I took twisty, so it all worked out.
My printer decided to jam in a place where I have to disassemble the duplexer. Not something I have time for before the trip, so I will be printing somewhere else.
The joys of minor inconveniences.
